"I really like Valley Hope’s electronic record because it is so workable. It saves a lot of time. All of the information about the patient is so readily accessible to me on my computer so I do not have to waste time looking for a paper record when I need access to information about my patients. I particularly like the ability to sort patients by care structure so I can quickly identify patients at different levels by group or by individual names. I have found it very easy to specify the print options when I need to send a printed report to a referring person. "I love it. It is so easy to use and you don’t have to have a lot of computer savvy to use it. I very much value having the ready access to information about my patients at my fingertips at all times. I don’t have to go to another office to find a paper record when I am needing information about my patients. This saves me a lot of time. I use the Group Progress Notes and love the way I can incorporate personalized information about each patient without having to re-write the basic information about the content of the group for each patient. This is really a cool feature in my opinion. The same is true with the treatment plan software. I like being able to edit the goals and objectives to personalize the treatment plan since every patient is unique even though many have similar problems. The list of treatment goals is so comprehensive that I very rarely have a patient whose treatment needs do not fit one or another of the treatment goals in the program. Even then, though, I can tailor a specific goal to that special case in the treatment plan software. Another great feature is the way the assessment program brings identified problems to the Summary of Assessments section. I love it when the computer does this part of my work for me."
